The inner wiring of the simulator cables

Serial port 9-to-25 pins adapter, works with SIM-16, FIG-16 and MS-16

25-pin --> MALE DB25M <--
(as seen from the soldering side)

DB25M-7 = DB9F-5
DB25M-3 = DB9F-2
DB25M-2 = DB9F-3

red/yellow/blue/black wires
7= blue, 3 = red, 2 = yellow
(black wire is not used)

orange/blue/black wires
7 = blue, 3 = orange, 2 = black + black
(connect black wires to each other)

9-pin FEMALE DB9F
(as seen from the soldering side)

DB9F-5 = DB25M-7
DB9F-2 = DB25M-3
DB9F-3 = DB25M-2

red/yellow/blue/black wires
2= red, 3 = yellow, 5= blue
(black wire is not used)
short-circuit 1+4

orange/blue/black wires
2 = orange, 3 = black + black, 5= blue
(connect black wires to each other)
short-circuit 1+4
